2008 Crestliner Angler's On Tour News

Please read the following guidelines carefully to insure qualification and membership in the Crestliner Angler's Tour Program.

  1. Program Dates: March 1, 2008 to December 31, 2008.
  2. Rewards:
    • Crestliner Angler's Tour Bonus Program: Eligible Crestliner retail owners who enter the Crestliner Angler's Tour Program and
      finish first in any Crestliner-sanctioned Tournament with 50 boats or more will be awarded $1000 paid in USD, based on the Official Rules.
    • Angler of the Year Program: The two Crestliner owners that accumulate the most points for the 2008 Program season will be
      awarded the following boat, motor, and trailer packages:
      * Substitute model may be chosen of equal or lesser value by winner, no cash value present.
      • Angler of the Year: Tournament Series 202 Mercury 225 Optimax, & trailer
      • 2nd place points total: 1850 Fish hawk Mercury 150 Optimax & trailer
    • Angler of the Year Program Tracking System: A minimum of 350 points is required to be eligible for the Crestliner Angler of
      the Year Program: Owners are eligible to compete in as many sanctioned events as they choose however only the top five (5)
      events for each Owner will count toward total points. Qualifying points are counted as follows:
      • 1st place: 100 pts;
      • 2nd place: 90pts
      • 3rd place: 80 pts
      • 4th place 70pts
      • 5th place: 60 pts
      • 6th place: 50 pts
      • 7th place: 40 pts
      • 8th place: 30 pts
      • 9th place: 20 pts
      • 10th place: 10 pts
      • 11th-20th place: 5 pts
      • No points awarded for 21st place or below.
  3. Method of Entry: Registration in the Crestliner Angler's Tour Program must be completed 14 days prior to participation in your first Crestliner
    sanctioned tournament. Registration forms can be obtained through your authorized Crestliner dealer or via our website at
    crestlineranglerstour.com. There is an annual $25.00 registration fee that can be paid by check or credit card. For your registration fee you
    will receive a Crestliner Angler's Tour cap and t-shirt, vehicle & boat decals, and discounts on Crestliner apparel.
  4. Eligibility: This program is open only to the retail owners of 2006 or newer Crestliner boat models, listed below, that contain a factory-installed
    livewell ("Owner"). Owner must comply with the following requirements:
    • Warranty registration of the boat used in the Program must be on file with Crestliner. In the event a team consists of two Crestliner
      owners, the owner of the boat used by the team in the qualifying tournament is the only member who earns cash incentives.
    • Owner must fish out of the same registered boat with a "Crestliner Angler's Tour" decal on driver's side windscreen (or on the side of
      the boat if using a tiller model) during all competition days.
    • Owner must wear a Crestliner hat, shirt, or jacket from take-off through weigh-in, each day of competition. Owner must prominently
      display a Crestliner logo on clothing worn during tournament through weigh-in conclusion. Crestliner logo must be on the center chest
      portion of the shirt (minimum size 10"x 2"), and in middle of the back of the shirt. Minimum size (10" x2"). Owner must wear a Crestliner logo cap, and Crestliner shirt when competing in sanctioned tournaments, to qualify for contingency money.
    • Owner must be a first place finisher in an eligible tournament to earn cash incentives.

    • Mirage 1700, 1800, 2000
    • Sport Angler 1650, 1750
    • Sportfish 1850, 1950, 2150
    • Super Hawk 1700, 1800, 1900, 1800 I/O
    • Tournament Series 192, 202
    • * models may be added as introduced*
  6. Eligible Pre-Sanctioned Tournaments: Eligible tournaments are listed on Crestliner's website at crestlineranglerstour.com and in the program
    brochure and must have a field of 50 or more boats. If an approved tournament has less than 50 boats, it will not qualify for a
    contingency payment or earn points for Angler of the Year.
  7. Requests for Approval of Additional Tournaments: Any request for a tournament not on the Crestliner list of sanctioned events must be
    pre-approved in writing at least (30) thirty days prior to the event dates. This may be in written or electronic form and signed off by one
    of the approved administrators of the incentive program. Crestliner's decision on approving additional tournaments is binding. Crestliner
    will only review requests to add tournaments which have the qualifications set out below:
    • An accessible means of posting official tournament results i.e. newsletter/publication, website, original hard-copy printouts, etc.
      per program guidelines; and
    • A written structure and rules for each event with a regulated common tournament format. Start and completion times must be regulated.
  8. Rewards Claim Forms. In order to receive a tournament reward, eligible Owners must submit the following items to Crestliner postmarked no
    more than 30 days following the tournament closure. Forms must have correct address and must be submitted with proper records for verification
    of incentives, and necessary signatures and proof. Failure to provide photos of clothing, showing participation and final placement as an individual
    or team, shall be reason for refusal of awards.
    • Official tournament finish affidavit (available at Crestlineranglerstour.com)
    • Copy of official and final tournament standings signed by tournament director.
    • Photos, either on stage or with winning check and or trophies, wearing Crestliner logos on shirt and cap. Photos can be e-mailed or
      mailed with tournament affidavit. Electronic images are preferred.
    • Optional: Crestliner requests any digital images pertaining to this event.
    • Photos become the property of Crestliner, and Crestliner reserves the right to use any submitted images in advertising and promotions.
  9. Delivery of Claim Forms. Issues involving outside delivery service and loss of packages, or handling and stamping are not the responsibility of
    Crestliner. Owners are fully responsible for compliance with all program guidelines. Postage or delivery failure will/may require re-issuance by
    governing Program officials. Copies of all forms should be kept for re-submittal, in such cases.
  10. Rewards Claim Processing: Please allow 60-90 days for processing of claims and verification of authenticity that program guidelines have been met. Crestliner reserves the right to determine eligibility of all claims.
  11. Taxes: Owners will be solely responsible for any and all federal, state, and local taxes on awards. Crestliner will require all Owners requesting
    awards to complete proper IRS forms for legally requiring reporting of income. (Form 1099 MISC). Social security number or Federal Tax ID
    number must be submitted with claim for payment.
  12. All Entrants Bound by Official Rules: Entrant (and if entrant is a minor, entrant's parent or legal guardian) agrees to be bound by these Official
    Rules. Entrants agree that compliance with program guidelines is solely their responsibility and in no way the responsibility of either the
    dealership or Crestliner.
  13. Entrant Release. By participating, entrant Owners agree to release and hold harmless Crestliner, their respective parents and subsidiaries,
    affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies and the directors, officers, employees, representatives and agents of any of the above
    organizations from any liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused in whole or in part, directly or indirectly,
    by participation in the Crestliner Angler's Tour or in any of the tournaments associated with the Crestliner Angler's Tour Program.
  14. Except where prohibited by law, completion of registration and claim forms submitting digital images pertaining to this event shall also
    constitute and signify the Owner's agreement and consent for Crestliner to use the Owner's name, address, likeness, voice and/or prize
    information without limitation for promotional purposes without further payment.
  15. Subject to all applicable federal and state laws. Void where prohibited by law. Crestliner reserves the right to make changes, or terminate
    the Crestliner Angler's Tour program at its discretion at any time.
